Chug! Chug! Chug! You’ve done it. You did exactly what you said you would never do again. You’ve gone overboard! You’ve taken so many shots that you can already feel that disastrous hangover creeping in.

Then out of nowhere, after what seems like 5 mins of sleep, you slowly open your eyes and it’s suddenly the morning after and you’re wondering, WHY?!

Well, it was fun while it lasted but now it’s time to pay the price for that long night of chaos. Or is it?

While the turn up has been real, throughout our years of “partying like animals,” my Brandage team and I have picked up a few tips and tricks that we think can help you get over that horrible hangover!

Here are 4 Tricks to cure a Hangover:

Water:

This is a MUST! Alcohol will dehydrate you, so be sure to drink at LEAST 2 bottles of water after every wild night out to help hydrate your body. I even suggest drinking a bottle or a glass of water after every few drinks to combat that nasty morning after.

Pouring Water Into Glass On Blue BackgroundCoffee:

This doesn’t work for everyone but I’ve found drinking a cup of joe within the first hour of waking up, tends to give me an extra boost in energy and a major boost in focus after a long night out. This is great for those who have work or school in the AM.

coffeePain Meds:

This may sound funny but what I usually do is pop a pill right before bed. No, not that kind of pill. An aspirin or ibuprofen usually helps me wake up refreshed and relaxed like nothing ever happened.

aspirinExercise:

Whatever you preference may be, cardio is always a great option in aiding a hangover. You release tons of endorphins in your body that in turn can lighten your mood and let’s not forget, liquor contains tons of calories! So burning a few hundred wouldn’t hurt.
